Ballroom Dances - European Family

Viennese waltz is the oldest of this family of dances.  The other three dances - waltz (or slow waltz, or modern waltz), foxtrot, and quickstep - are descended from it, either directly or indirectly.  Waltz will probably be the first dance of this family that you meet.  It's the simplest of the group due to its regular timing.
