Gala Ball Events

The River City Ballroom Gala Ball is a formal event featuring a three course meal, dance performances by students and teachers of River City Ballroom, and lots of general dancing.  Dress is Black Tie / Gowns or Suit & Tie / Cocktail.  We want everything about the evening to be beautiful, and we work hard behind the scenes to ensure it measures up, so please dress up in your very finest!

Being able to go to a ball is a mark of privilege.  We think it's really important to give something back to our community, especially to those who have little chance of attending events like these.  We've chosen to use all our major events to support Micah Projects, an award-winning local organisation which works to prevent and redress homelessness in Brisbane. Every ticket purchased will help Micah to help the least privileged members of our own community.

At each Gala Ball, we present the Nadine Haag Memorial Award to a student who has improved beyond our expectations by hard work and determination.  To find out more about this award and the person it commemorates, have a look at this page.
